Another Eno River View

I spent the free time I had between getting ready to leave for the STOMP performance and dinner at my son's attempting another perspective sketch from the walk several weeks ago along the Eno River. I liked the pen and ink I had rendered, but wound up HATING the watercolor I did over it (can't WAIT for classes to begin! LOL). So I redid the sketch on colored paper --

I really like this! I love sketches on differnt colored paper, it add something or makes the sketch pop in a differnt way.

It's fun transforming sketches using different media, isn't it? I like this too - the colour paper gives it a 'woodsy' mood - dark and earthy.

Great job! I like the way you've done the ridge in greater detail, and then left the rest of the drawing to be less delineated. A nice focal point.

This is lovely Lin. I think you did a great job with the perspective and the simplicity of colour on that backgrounds is just right. :o)
