Poppy


I'm still experimenting with the Fabriano watercolor paper. I sketched this poppy from a book and tried to focus on the highlights and manipulating my paint. OH MY! There's a lot to learn!
This looks more like pencil than watercolor! SIGH!

I think it looks nice, too! Keep experimenting -- I've decided that it takes a lifetime of experiments to master watercolor!

Lin, I think all your flowers are great! I love all the colors! They are so bright and springish (? is that a word?) Anyway, they are wonderful.
