This is just beautiful, Lin, and so is the monarch below. It seems to me you've hit a whole new level recently in your artwork. I envy you so much your trip to see the Chihuly glass in the BBG. I think that must have inspired you to new heights of excellence!

I'll ditto Teri's comment! The best yet. Love the greens you have in the trees and land. Just outstanding!

Ah Lin, the Willow and the Monarch...both are lovely. You've done such a great job with both of these. The colour variations, shadings and composition...beautiful. Well done. Both made me smile this morning! So glad your hubby's fine too after his surgery!

Gorgeous Lin, I could sit uner that willow and trail my hands in the water.

Lin, your art really is beautiful. I find it really hard to draw landscape. But you let it look fresh and light.

Glorious!!

See, I already got some new words for great ... :)

I LOVE the effect of the tree in this one --
more like an impressionist painting. So
restful!

Gosh, it's wonderful Lin! I wouldn't have a clue where to start with doing a willow but you captured that gentleness it has. Are there no subjects you can't do?? :)!
