I love seeing these kinds of hay bales in fields. Nice sketch!

I agree and you have done such a beautiful job of getting those golden fall colors here, Lin. Your perspective is equally nice, my friend. Well done!

Oh, Lin, this is super. I loved the hay bales...the colors and just right.

Lin, this is lovely! I remember seeing bales of hay like this in Germany where I lived until I was eight. Now, they 'shrink wrap' the bales in white plastic, which is not as nice to look at.
Great colour variation in the yellows an golds.

Lin - This REALLY is your best landscape!! This would look fantastic matted and framed. It would also be PERFECT to print onto notecards.

That sketch is so lovely. It's very autumnal for the hay bales (that to me look like the giant Neapolitan pumpkins)

Beautiful job Lin. You could this right next to "The Gleaners". Love these rolls.

Lin, I love your warm harvest colors. And I understand about the lunch disappearing. I live a few blocks from Johnson Space Center and the land surrounding it is mowed about twice a year and baled. I must remember your painting the next time they do it and get out my sketch book.

Oh my goodness, how perfect it looks - so
real. Congratulations! We tried this in our expressionist painting class and I was
miserable at it so painted over it.

Great job and I love the sunny color on the field.
Hugs,
Lorraine

Oh wow, I have just taken a photo very similar to this during my recent trip away!! I'll have to put it up on my blog so you can see. We must be attracted to the same sorts of things. Duh...what a silly thing to say. OF COURSE we are attracted to the same sorts of things - we knew this already right!!! LOL
