EDM 95 Holiday

EDM 95 HOLIDAY

The challenge this week for EDM is to sketch something 'holiday.' Here's my 'loose' poinsettia -- certainly for me, the holiday isn't a holiday without poinsettias!

I couldn't achieve the 'loose' I wanted -- so I'll probably give this another go. I added the 'Happy Holiday' in PhotoShop.

Lovely! I love the background colour, too. It really makes the Poinsettia stand out.

This looks like a professionally done card. The design/composition is really nice too. Are you going to make Christmas cards from your design?

I absolutely love this and the bowl of fruit! The green and red in the background look beautiful and again the softness of the colours in the fruit carried into the background just looks amazing!

I'm glad you're on the mend.

You are doing some lovely work with this looser style. I'm enjoying it.

Love where your painting is going. Hope you are going to use the poinsettia as your holiday cards

Every bit of this is perfect! I'll bet you your lunch that your propoed looser version isn't better. The background is complex, the colors great, the feel great. A+.

Very lovely! I would love to get a card like this...so much better than getting a store bought card.

I was looking for some instruction on watercolor pencils and found your blog. It is lovely. I am going to have to stop by more often.
