Artichoke

Artichoke

Again - the shading on the leaves is wonderful. I can taste that artichoke with dipping butter.

I saw a lot of your work, didn't have a lot of time to comment...and here I had to write. This is great & accurate. Very good work...makes me hungry :-)

Well, I don't care for artichokes until they are in the jar! LOL and then I love them in several recipes. However, I don't know how you'll be able to eat this -- you have drawn, colored and shaded it so perfectly -- it's like a portrait!!! Amazing job Lin.

Wow Lin what a fabulous job on this artichoke - funny, I bought an artichoke to paint a few days ago and I noticed this morning it is all dried up - You did an outstanding job, I am not going to try.

Simply a masterpiece. Every thing about it is just perfect, and I bet it wasn't an easy thing to draw. Did you enjoy the process more than working from photos?

Lin, I love artichokes any time of the year and this rendering looks good enough to eat. My little grandaughter loves them too and was taking them in her lunch until kids starting teasing her and asking her what in the world they were.
