Another day of holiday preparations and a focus on flowers to slow down and meditate. I'm also using these to practice wet-in-wet, wet overglazing and other watercolor techniques.
My mom arrives this morning and her arrival begins the start of the holidays and family coming in! I'm so excited my arms are a'tingle!

Oh it's lovely; but I still like the yellow one better. Love the close up on this one though! Nice shading and I can really believe it's a real rose!

Wow! I've tried so many times to paint my roses that are bi-colored like this and I just never have gotten it right. You did though! Beautiful!
