Rose - Application from Theory

Continuing with my practice ... I've tried to take some of my recent attempts at looseness and blending to a more detailed rose (sketch practice). Though I find the blue a bit harsh, and will be working to find a similiar value in a different hue, I sort of like this application of theory.

Hi Lin: been a while since I've popped in, but oh, your watercolors are getting so watercolory. Those roses are very fresh, love the blending. And girl, when do you ever find the time to exercise, you are amzing!

I find roses difficult for just that reason--you want to get good value differentiation but they are so delicate that it's tricky. But this works and I like it.
