Three Tulips


Three Tulips

I am so enamored with ink and wash ... and I'll keep practicing it myself until I can render it the way I imagine in my mind.

On the way back from the park Sunday, we stopped and picked up a small cluster of tulips for my "sketch subject" ...

(These look so much better in my sketchbook than on the screen!!)

I quite like the lighter hand with this piece, Lin. It looks so spontaneous. It's maks me 'feel' Sprng just by looking at it!

It's too warm to grow tulips here successfully (in my part of Australia anyway), so I will enjoy them through you. These are lovely Lin. Do they have a scent?
