When I left work, I spotted an Eastern Bluebird flitting around the kitchen garden.

When I got home, there was some activity at my bluebird house as well...so I found a reference photo to commemorate the bluebird.

Wonderful job, Lin!! I've never seen an eastern bluebird - so this is a real treat for me!! The shape of the bird looks pretty perfect and the colors are fabulous!

Oh he/she? looks just like the Vermont bluebirds I remember so well -- may favorites until I came to KY and saw the Cardinals!! Great job. We had the fattest robin at our feeder this week -- keeping warm I guess.
