We're readying the greenhouse for our plant sale Saturday -- students have been tidying the grounds and buildings -- mercy, it's the best the place has looked since LAST plant sale! LOL

The shadow underneath the vase, and the colours/reflections in the vase are lovely!

I like your “looser” style, Lin. These carnations are lovely. I like how you put depth into them by varying the shades of the pink color. Great capture of the stems in the water.

Well done; you've really captured the style. Also I love how the vase turned out. I cannot even imagine being able to capture glass and it's highlights!

Yes, this is already nice and loose, but you've really captured the subject.

Beautiful Lin..it seems you have the looseness right down now...all your latest sketches have these nice free "strokes". Love this again...you vase is lovely and the shadow and surface is very watercolory....like that!

This is beautiful Lin. You did a great job, particularly with the vase! They can be so tricky, but this is great. :o)

I have a vase like that! I can see the influence, a bit, of one of our favorite illustrators (Florine Asch) in the flowers, especially. Such a nice sketch, cara.

This is just beautiful. You've come a long way and me thinks you have arrived my dear! This is deliciously loose and yet very accurately rendered at the same time. Lovely washes too.

I just love how you do plants! The flowers and the leaves. Just those few lines and then the washes. Gorgeous!
