Oh, when I bring that one up full size, I can so clearly see the shading and what I'd call mottling (???). It's just lovely Lin. Spring sure provides you with a wealth of painting opportunities!

I can just imagine how that quince must look...they are a sight to just completely lose yourself in, exactly like you have done in your sketch, Lin! Beautiful.

Hmmm... I think I said this last spring, but we ALL just need to invade your yard to paint! I imagine that it is ablaze with non-stop color! This is wonderful.

I love the color orange for its boldness and exuberance … that you managed to make these flowers looking so handsomely dainty is beyond me! (big smile)

*Though I appreciate pretty flowers, I can only name roses and calla lily. Oh, yes, geraniums too. Thank you for all the lovely sketches of various flowers/plants. I am absolutely at awe by them but also for the fact that you know their names!
