Tulips

Tulips

Perfection!!! Definitely a candidate for card reprints. I used to plant Emperor Reds -- giant poppy colored tulips. Nice reminder.

Oh, my! Such wonderful form definition, cara! You are gaining such strength and confidence in your work. Too bad tulips are annuals in our climate, though, isn't it?

Hmmm... then again, maybe THIS is my favorite! :-D Wonderfully done -- beautiful clear reds, great depth of color in the greens. You have "blossomed" quite a bit yourself -- artistically speaking, that is! Great work.

Very nicely done. Like that range of values not only in th e flower petals but in the leaves too.

The tulips do look bold, if not brazen in their confidence of their beauty. Hehe.
But, their leaves, oh my! I love how they gracefully curve upright, they remind me of a dancer’s supple movement. :)
