The insects were biting too much to sketch outdoors, so I sat in Rebecca's covered porch and sketched the view from the window -- the corner of her barn surrounded by cheerful flowers ...

You painting has definately taken a jump forward, in both your composition and the blending of colors. I LOVE IT!!! Such a simple view but it is done beautifully!

Yes, the textures are wonderful! I'm amazed you never run out of things to paint and even in familiar surroundings find something new and comepletely different!

Nothing stops you from painting - I really admire that. This is lovely, and so much in your distinctive style. I love the colours - those reds against the grey wall are beautiful.
