Banana Peppers

I harvested these from the Arboretum kitchen garden and pickled them last night. (The scan is a bit off -- they're a richer yellow in real life.)

I like the drawing, I have trouble with yellows with my scanner, if the yellow comes out right, all the other colors are a bit off...I have never had these pickled...

Isn't summer wonderful? Our neighbor just brought over some jalapeno peppers she grew in her garden...good salsa fixins'!!!!! Your peppers look terrific Lin!

The colors look gorgeous - but I know from experience what you mean about scanners and yellow. Especially when it's combined with blue. I'm sure they are even more beautiful in real life. I love banana peppers - ours are just now starting to come in. I'd never thought of picklling them.... hmmm... (runs to kitchen to find recipe book)
