I'm thinking I could do a bit of negative painting in some of the background -- I may give that a try when I get home....

Oh your shading in both the grapes and the leaves is beautiful. Fall keeps trying to peek in but it's going up to 89 on Sat. -- the day of my yard sale! Yikes.

Oh, your painting had me running downstairs to go fetch a bunch of muscat rapes...my alltime favorite...they look just like in your beautiful painting! Love the leaves too!

Your grapes and leaves are just beautiful. I just ate some wonderful sweet grapes...never thought to paint them. That happens all the time, ignoring the ordinary as a painting subject. Thank you by the way for the plein air painting information the other day. It sounds like fun being with other painters and one can learn allot from it.

Love the juxtaposition of the colors of the leaves and background which make a perfect background for your grapes. Lovely!
