Wishing for Snow

Wishing for Snow
Originally uploaded by linfrye
While snow, sleet and ice blanket portions of the midlands and northeast areas of the US, here in NC we have had the most unseasonably high temperatures -- topping out at over 80F! And sadly, still no rain. I sincerely wish for safety, heat and swiftly restored power for those undergoing the extremes of ice and snow, I am so praying too for preciptation of any kind for our parched state and region.

Plus, in my heart of hearts, I really am wishing for a White Christmas!

(Thank you too for your well wishes-- I'm feeling so much better --- many thanks!!)

Your sky and snow in this one are just wonderful -- and your shadows -- brrr. Lots of rain here after a 70+ day and then comes the cold!
Hugs,

This is a beautiful winter landscape, and great shadows too. Isn't it crazy how some of the country gets too much of one thing while another part is starved for it!

I hope you have a white Christmas!
I love this snow picture, the sky look cold and wintery and the colors you used in the snow shadows are perfect!
