Daily Practice

There is a good chance I"ll have the fantastic opportunity of traveling to Tuscany with an admired art instructor next year -- my fingers, toes and all else are crossed!

Meantime, I thought I'd begin practicing some landscapes of those wondrous old hilltop towns, fields and narrow junipers ...

This painting is lovely. It looks like Tuscany is supposed to look like, but when we were there it was December, 2006. It didn't look anything like this!!

Wow! Sounds just divine! Love your clouds in this sketch!!! Love the whole sketch, just trying to get a grip on skies, so am very aware of them at the present.

What a beautiful landscape. It's hard to imagine that anyplace could be as beautiful as all the pictures show... :-)
