Fall Marsh

Fall Marsh

This sketch was done from a photograph taken in the summer -- I changed the colors and a bit of the scenery to reflect more of falls warmth...

It's been cold enough here to freeze the cats' water bowl, so during our many errands yesterday, we bought a heated bed for them ...yeah, I know ...still last night when they were curled up in it, all toasty warm, I could sleep much better too knowing they were as snuggly as me! LOL

Temps are supposed to rise a bit today -- thank heavens!

Good Morning Lin... It is chilly here too but not anywhere near what you guys get... It is 52' right now... I would love to be where there is really cold weather just one winter at the least... Love you painting this morning... I haven't even begun Christmas shopping... Have a warm & toasty day...

Ah a bit of summer in the midst of winter! I like the loose softness and the water!! Very cold here too. I keep a heating pad in the boxes for the two ferals but I think only one uses it. We've had frozen water bowls too but it's supposed to warm up into the 40's this week. Yeah and sun today Yeah!
Take good care during these busy times.

Such a lovely autumn scene, but sounds way too cold.

Beautiful one. I like the palette and the composition. The painting reminds me of those beautiful pictures portraying the wildness.

Oooh, a heated bed for the cats. :)You are such nice people.
One of my cats is adventuring in the darkness at the moment and it will be midnight in an hour and it's minus degrees outside. :((

I know what you mean about the kitties! We're looking for a way to heat Chaos's little bed up for the winter -- I think we're due for a COLD one1

Lin - This is the first chance I had to look at your workshop paintings....I AM IN AWE!!!! The Sunflowers and the Poppies are just gorgeous!!!! I'll have to come back and revisit all of them again when I get back home. I am on the computer at the Hampton Inn in St. Augustine. It is a bit chilly today and I hope it will be comfy so I can go out and sketch and paint a bit tomorrow. It is hard to believe that the holidays are coming!!!! Keep working on these super paintings. Have a Happy Thanksgiving if I don't have a chance to pop in before then.

Ah, I see from your painting that you're missing those warmer days! So nice of you to buy a heated bed for your "babies"... I just cleaned off a small desk near my painting desk for Bailey. He kept nudging me while I was painting so I removed my acrylic painting supplies to make a kitty bed! The things we do for our kitties!
