Sand Dune in Sunken Meadow

Though the temps right now are in the mid-teens, we've a broken waterpipe outside the tool shed at the Arboretum, and snow is predicted for tomorrow, I remember the warmth of family and Thanksgiving and the early morning walk at Sunken Meadow Beach. I so fondly remember coming to the end of the boardwalk and viewing this snowfence, grasses and bit of sky and ocean beyond the dunes -- and just LOVING the colors and sight! I offer this today - to help us keep warm in the freezing temps - and to remember, this season, our families, friends and the beauty around us.

Stay warm and safe!

Oh to be on a warm beach today. Temps are supposed to get really low tonight.

Beautiful painting Lin -- love the snow fence and the colors in the sand and the sky and and and. Thanks for the breath of warm air.

So sorry about the broken pipe; hope it can be easily fixed.
Stay warm,
Lorraine

Oh so beautiful! I know you would be walking on that sand if you could.

Beautiful job on the view of the dunes!!! Nice fall colors. Since it is about 27 here and windy, I can just imagine what that particular spot feels like right now. lol

Stay warm & enjoy!
