The rain has finally graced us with a bit of moisture and more, thank heavens, is in the forecast. Temps have cooled, but still, the flower parade marches on.

The last of the camellias are in bloom - reds and pinks at the Arboretum, a few white along the lakeside trail ...

Redbuds are now in bloom, and here at work, the trees are begining to dress themselves in chartreuse ... Oaks are sending their pollen through the air, making allergy sensitive folks suffer with running noses and itchy eyes .. and already, the pine pollen has begun to turn our lake waters, cars, and sidewalks a bright yellow -- yep, spring on parade!

We're in the throes of spring frenzy in the greenhouse as well as the warmth and longer days of sunlight have given our plantings a boost - some of the flowers have even begun to bloom!

Hope your day is filled with joy and sunshine!

We are in the midst of 30's temps and rain so the only sunshine that is gracing me today is your gorgeous impressionistic painting. What lovely colors Lin and what a beautiful rendering. I love the colors of the leaves especially and the way you painted the shadows. Thanks for brightening this otherwise gloomy day. We've had quite enough rain, hail, wind and chill but it looks like a week of winter coming up!! Stay warm and well.
Hugs,
Lorraine

Great washy look to this!! Nicely done.

We had snow! I went to an art meeting last night and came out to find about and inch of very wet snow on my car. This morning it looked lovely...everything covered in white again. I want sun and springlike temps! Have a good day!

Very pretty and it looks like I'm seeing it through a rainy window. We have had just about nothing but rain here in Cincy this spring. Glad to share some with you.
