Bright Hibiscus

1/8 Sheet
Arches 140#CP
This is another painting from my archives. The hibiscus are just blooming here - mine at home are a sweet pink, but I saw these brilliant hibiscus during one of our garden trips last year and wanted to capture that vivid red/orange.
The heat continues and no rain in sight. In order to keep my flowers bright and blooming, I'll be spending time in the garden today after a ton of chores.
I noticed that my favorite hay field has been mowed - I'm expecting that they'll be baling today - I hope to catch the tractors in action!
Have a great day!

I love hibiscus blooms, and you do them so well!!!

Today is a crisp spring day here. No humidity for a change and a nice breeze. Enjoy your day!!!

WOW -- the colors, the shapes, the shading -- all just perfect. They look so real and yet arty at the same time. Gorgeous Lin!

Big hugs,
