Inspired by Porcelain Berries

I've never had the pleasure to actually find porcelain berries - or grow them - but I'm fascinated by their colors - blue, pink, yellow -- unusual berry color - and in the fall! This was painted from a photo reference - but oh I wish I could see these!

The temps have turned today - mid 40s to begin the day - and only rising to the low 60s! Our volunteers will be here in an hour and we'll be harvesting some of the cole crops that we've planted for the hungry, and weed and clean up in preparation for the orchard planting in a couple of weeks.

Thank you all for your most kind comments .... your generous words keep me painting and improving ... blessings!

Hope your day is warm and wonderful!

The berries look like almost bubble gum colors. I've never seen them before. Lovely!!! Have a great day. It is mild here today, but windy. I may go find a sheltered spot to paint, or paint from my car.

Wow; terrific painting. I too have never seen (nor til today) ever heard of these berries. Love love love the way the paint comes down the page.

Very very Brrr here too; turned on the heat last night and wearing a Lin kitty sweatshirt today. Wanting to eat hot soups and coffee.

Big hugs,
Lorraine
