Purple Cone Flowers

11 x 14 Watercolor
Arches 140#CP

My purple coneflowers are finally blooming -- it seems they've been 'on the verge' for weeks! White, pink, red - they brighten my wild wildflower garden and seem to hold up even in this week's 95F degree weather!

Ooh I love everything about this painting -- the beautiful cone flowers, the unbelievable leaves, and the gorgeous background. An overall winner to be sure.
I know I've said it before, but your art just keeps getting better and better and better Lin.

Just Beautiful Lin - I have never grown these but keep thinking I need to add them to my garden. In the meantime I will enjoy them in your painting. Stay cool - summer is arriving this week-end. Have a good one!

Lovely job, Lin!!! I have daisies and black-eyed Susans trying to grow out by my patio. I'm experimenting since I have mostly shade. The daisies are starting to flower! It will be good to see you next week.
