Primrose

Journal - A few days ago my friend Chris introduced me to a little known gem in Brunswick County - The Brunswick Botanical Garden. Though no larger than perhaps 2 acres, the landscape was pure joy! Flowers, edible plants, pollinator gardens, roses, garden statues, waterfall - all splendidly kept and all inviting a sketch. We sat in the shade and tried to capture the bed of Primroses ... I'll have to go back soon and capture more of this magical place. Thank you Chris Bergstrom Kibler!

Journal - Live Oak and Wisteria

Journal - Spring is definitely here on the North Carolina coast - and when the sun shines, I try to take advantage of its fleeting nature to capture those first colorful blooms. Yesterday, Katie McKendry, Chris Bergstrom Kibler and I sat outside this fabulous, HUGE, live oak draped in wisteria and tried to capture its beauty.
