Watering Can

This summer has been so incredibly hot that I have spent more hours watering with hose and watering can than I can remember doing any previous season.

I saw this photo and knew a sketch of it belonged in my journal to represent my summer activity.

    Wow I love red and green together like this. Usually I don't much because it looks too 'Christmassy' but this looks vibrant and wonderful. I have a thing for nice watering cans too. :o) This is a fabulous piece Lin. One of my favourites!

    This sketch is beautiful!! I love the mottled greens in the background. The red flowers "pop" the watering can. Excellent!!!
