Back from the leadership conference and truly tuckered out. I spent the day resting, really resting, and working on some artwork.
I'm continuing my contributions to Kate's alumni Fall theme ... here some green grapes. I tried to vary the grapes from the leaves in color -- but still wound up with a very GREEN image ... ah, more green color mixing on my agenda!
I think this is beautifully done. I have to admit bias though...green is my favourite colour. This is lovely Lin.
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely Lin. Sometimes green needs to be all green and you did a great job on the leaves and grapes. Very natural looking.
ReplyDeleteWell, i have to say, Lin, i love the shades of green. You have been doing such amazing paintings lately. Keep them coming!
ReplyDeleteYour greens look great, Lin. I do understand the frustration with green though, sometimes, it just doesn't feel like enough variation.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful leaves and grapes and so Italian looking--like they'd be painted on a lovely ceramic pitcher.
ReplyDeleteThese are positively exquisite.
ReplyDeleteOooh, they look good enough to eat. So
ReplyDeleterealistic and very very well done. Love the shading.
Hugs,
Lorraine
