Work was overwhelming yesterday with too much to do and too little time. On top of that, I came down with an infection and spent three hours between the Quick Med and pharmacy.
I sketched this after I took my antibiotics and deliberately kept it fast and loose.
Beautiful painting, so soft and light! I hope you're feeling better now Lin. I'm humbled that you make time for art through thick and thin, well done!
ReplyDeleteOoh ooh ooh, now this loose one I LOVE. Maybe that's the secret - fast. Seems like I remember my wc instructor telling me that very thing -- don't think about it, just "see" it in your mind's eye and do it quickly. Easy to say but impossible for me to do. But you have really "got" it.
ReplyDeleteLovely. Feel better soon my friend.
Hugs,
Lorraine
Loose is beautiful. I find that doing something fast equals loose.
ReplyDeleteBIG FEEL BETTER HUGS TO YOU.
So soft and delicate - love not only the loose style but also your backgrounds are fantastic!!
ReplyDeleteTake care of yourself! Are you home or at the B&B?
This is lovely! The colours are some of my favourites, too. These flowers are beautifully done. I can almost touch their papery petals!
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon.
I'm sorry you weren't feeling well, cara. Hope you're all better now. This IS loose and lovely, as you'd hoped!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work! I've enjoyed looking at your blog.
ReplyDeleteLin - this does NOT look like the work of a sick person. Feel better and my hat is off to you.
ReplyDeleteAmazing! I can't believe you did this while you were sick and exhausted. They look perky and hopeful and just beautiful.
