Nice composition! My astilbe is probably 6 weeks from blooming, not a sign of a flower stalk yet. Sigh.
I hadn't heard of the astilbe before but I like your bright clear colours very much! A creative comp too.
This IS NICE! I like the little edge of the pond in there too. Astilbies aren't exactly easy to draw and you have done a great job on them!
