Oh my goodness those trees on the right are incredible and I really like the finely defined grasses in front and the fading off into the distance of the other three and mountains. You've got a good grasp of foreground, middle and distance. Hugs, Lorraine
I love the trees in this. Interesting and good to see you stretching your wings; it is beautiful! Love the line and color of the different grassed in the foreground too.
Goodness Lin, you are moving so fast on your paintings and getting so wonderful, soon you will be selling them. Could you send your guide over here please? :)
I thought I loved your flowers but your landscapes are totally wowing me. This is another fantastic one and I'm really envious of your talent at painting them. I've been studying a book on landscape painting written in 1929 by Carlson to try to understand what I'm seeing out there...it's all so big and complex and confusing to me.
This is glorious! It glows!
ReplyDeleteGreat landscape Lin...I quite like the almost linear feel to it.

ReplyDeleteThe trees are great, as Lorraine says, but the whole composition really works well.
