I am constantly intrigued with flowerpots, especially those on beautifully-foliaged windowsills. I found this photo on Wet Canvas and wanted to paint it as an expression of one of my favorite views.
This is such a nice view. I also enjoy passing by windowsills with boxes and pots and elegant boxwood... I have missed many posts again...from your bright trees, your plein air sketching and your boulders to this delightful, bright sunny windowsill; all your colourful paintings bringing a bit of cheer to a grey day here in France...bof, these grey days!! Ronell
There's so much to see and enjoy in this one -- the window, the ledge, all the foliage -- a lot and well done! And the various flower pots. How nice for someone to give this "gift" to others instead of keeping it all inside -- and a double gift that you can recreate it for us. Hugs, Lorraine
This is so nice, just lovely. I really like all of your work here - so much to see! I look forward to seeing many more of your wonderful watercolor sketches. Ann
Why is it that a grouping of flower pots are/is so cheerful to us viewers? I also love them all to be different .. different shapes with different flowers.
