I spent a bit of time yesterday adding a few things to my hand-made spiral sketchbook for Italy -- some photos, my itinerary, a few charms, copies of some of my 'Italian practice sketches.' I've interspersed writing paper between the watercolor paper so that I can keep a written journal along with my sketches.
Ah yes I remember you telling us about these -- very cool and a terrific idea to add the pages for writing -- you are SO good at both. I'm still waiting for you to publish that sketchbook -- perhaps one about your upcoming trip to Italy -- when you return.

Great idea! Love the writing paper leaves interspersed! Where did you get them bound with the spiral? If I don't have a chance to tell you later - have a wonderful trip and bring back full travel sketchbooks for all of us to enjoy!
