Splashing On a Rainy Day

Journal - We're starting yet another -- sigh -- week of rain --- ground is saturated and by now so are much of our spirits ... every once in a while, we'll get a few hours of patchy sun, but rain continues in this unseasonable weather pattern we're in. Feeling wet and soggy myself, I decided to just splash around in my paints - and leave some of the rain outdoors ...

Journal - Our scheduled Sketch trip to Wilmington was canceled today due to severe storms and flooded roads. So I staged my own sketching session as an "Ode" to the days and days of rain -- my boots and husband's large umbrella.
