Flowering Quince

Sometimes I think it's really terrific to be able to experience Spring a bit longer than it actually is ...

Wonderful - the background works beautifully to set it off!

Yes, that is truly a bonus for you. I never thought of it that way but people who travel daily for their work must also have this unique pleasure. I just love what you did with the background -- like a photo where the focus is on the very front flowers and the rest are faded into the background. Glorious colors too!

Lin - This is absolutely beautiful!!! I love the detail of the flowers in focus and the misty look of the ones in the background. This is one of my favorites!!! You are so lucky to be able to capture these twice. Wonderful job on this!!

Lin, this is beautiful. Your artistry progresses constantly.

Year before last when we went in April from here to Pennsylvania, it was amazing to see Spring in various stages of dress! Even in NC and TN last May, it was the same. Wish we were there again. Have you seen the "Songcatcher". Lovely NC movie.

Beautiful, Lin - I love the depth you've achieved - those out of focus background flowers make the focal point that much stronger!

This is terrific, Lin. I love the depth of field that the blurred background gives.
