Eno River - Tree Bank

Eno River - Tree Bank

The week before last, C and I took a long walk along the Eno River. The foliage had begun to change, the river was rather quiet, and the promise of cooler weather didn't come. Instead, it was a hot, humid day - making the climb over rocks and up hills a bit more tiring. Still, it was a good time out of doors.

It was an intensely busy day yesterday and today has already started out similarly ...

I hope to catch up with everyone once things slow down a bit!

Have a great day!

Oh you have SO captured what many of our trees look like here -- that yellowish cast to the green underneath. Bravo! We are also back into the low 90's -- will fall ever come and will I be complaining in December of the cold???

Lovely painting Lin; stay cool and slow down!
Hugs,
Lorraine

What a lovely view for a walk. Love the serenity here.
