Inspired by Daisies

Only the leaves are up for these warm-weather beauties, but watching the fields coming into blossom, had me dreaming of those wonderful white daisies that cheer every roadside and garden.

It's a busy, busy time with preparations for our fund-raiser plant sale, volunteer events and spring weather making everything need attention.

I'll be a bit scarce for the next couple of weeks until some of our major events are completed ...

Hope your days are joyful!

A beautiful impressionistic painting Lin. The famous impressionists of the last century and before would be proud of your magnificent use of light. I can just hear Monet raving about it now!! I love the colors you used and again those splashy lines moving out and away from the flowers. You've mastered yet another style and beautifully.

Try to pace yourself and I will be scare too -- taxes (yuk), the international quilt show in Cincinnati, and then four days of painting with Sterling. Wish I could help you with your tasks so you could come too!
Big hugs,
Lorraine

Lin, these floral paintings are amazing. Beautifully painted, lovely compositions. Hang in there, you will get everything done, take a deep breath and maybe a nap.

All the best to you,
Joan
