Winter Barn and Birches

No, no snow here - yet -- just freezing temperatures and rain.  Though we still have a few leaves on the trees, since the 'Arctic Blast' hit us last week, most of those leaves have browned, and the once dense woodlands are opening to revel a tangle of incredible arboreal architecture.

This painting was a done as demo for the watercolor class I taught this month.

Dear Lin - so very pretty. Actually today that could be painted from our neck of the woods. We have had our first snowfall and cold too! Hope you have a delightful day. Bet I would learn so much from you if I could attend one of your workshops. Stay warm friend.

Such a lovely scene to put us in the Holiday spirit. Love snow scenes, this one is truly beautiful.
