Landscape Practice

I'm always in conflict as to how much to put in and how much to leave out -- I opted for simplicity for this practice sketch ....

The simplicity works perfect Lin. Nothing is fighting for atention and the whole scen comes over as calm and peaceful.

When in doubt, leave it out, is my motto. This painting caught my eye on flickr and I'm ashamed to say I don't think I took the time to comment, but I like it a great lot and am not going to hesitate to say so on my second chance here.
