Birdhouse, EDM 134 Unusual Angle

I want to thank my friends for their encouragement during my slump ... I truly appreciate all the kind words!

This is the style I HOPE to be moving toward, the one that has given me such fits this weekend. I'm not quite where I want to be with it ... but I think it's closer to what I've been attempting.

I like this sketch pretty much, a sort of vignette style, sketchy with enough detail to keep my 'need for line' at bay. I'll be working toward something like this ... (I hope!) LOL

I'm heading to SC to see my daughter and granddaughter tonight ... so it'll be a busy weekend and I'll be away from the computer for a while ... I hope to get a bit of painting in, though .... I've got my fingers crossed!

Thank you all again, very very much!

Very nice; the only way I can get unusual angles is by mistake! Good job. Have a safe trip and a wonderful visit.

I really like this style; it's romantic somehow. You've handled the paint really well to get that mix of detail and suggestion. I look forward to seeing more. Have a good trip!

I like this style, Lin -- somehow it seems to suit you (and I don't know why I think that, since we've never actually MET -- still...) and this is really a wonderful piece! Congratulations on moving closer toward your vision!

Sorry to hear about your frustration, I've been out of the loop for the past few months. This is gorgoeus! Great color and I love the comp. Nice work!
