I'm not too crazy about these doors and have yet to figure out why -- I love the colors, though!

They're wonderful doors. You may change your mind when you look at them in a few days.

Wait a few days and look at your painting again. I usually find a bit of distance makes a lot of difference looking at things.

The painting is awesome! What's not to love?

Perfect colour choices, too.
Brava!

I also like your doors...maybe you should let the art fairy take care of it for a while(Casey introduced me to the art fairy yesterday, because I also didn't like what I did in our art afternoon and so I let the art fairy take over and today my sketch doesn't look that bad!)

Add me to the "like" list. With all of us likeing the doors you've painted it does make me wonder why you wouldn't ... is it because they are opening? Thats a little different for you isn't it? maybe you just worked on the a bit to long and you tired of them.

I also like the doors but I can see what you mean -- it's something about the perspective -- especially toward the bottom. I would find it IMPOSSIBLE to get anywhere near the right perspective with that shot so I think you've done a terrific job. They don't all have to be perfect!!! I love the colors too and the design around the door.

Hmmm... I think they look fine. You got the inside opening bit more in the shadow, so that's right ... the shadow vs light on the floor seems right ... perspective seems right ... They look great to me!
