Fields of Grasses

Fields of Grasses

Though this is from a photo reference, the scene is so similar to my view driving along our rural roads. We lack the distant mountains, though in some of our counties the dips the road takes when we cross rivers and streams often give the illusion that the land before us is far hillier than in reality. Already the trees are dressed in full green, and the grasses tawny. Polka dots of white and gold wildflowers pepper some of the fields...

We've overcast skies again and still no rain. I see my day filled with getting water to all these thirsty shrubs and trees ...

Take care ...

I really love looking at all the various brush work in this one Lin -- details and more impressionistic parts and the description is lovely. I tried to send the rain your way -- it's now so overcast and muggy after our bit of rain yesterday!
Hugs,
Lorraine

Lovely feeling to this!!! It is a common, but beautiful site and well painted. Well done!!

We have had heavy rain and blue skies at various times today...strange weather. But the weekend should be good! Have a great evening!
