HAPPY FIVE YEARS OF DAILY PAINTING AND BLOGGING!!!

Today marks the fifth year of my daily painting -- five years!!! Blows me away too ... ! Though I could not post daily due to trips out of the country or internet access, I have painted something -- very often not masterpieces!!! LOL - every day. WHEW!

Folks often ask me how I manage to paint every day -- and the truth is - YOU do. Your constant, considerate, generous comments have kept me going day after day, year after year. Your kind encouragement has kept me on the journey -- and I sincerely, deeply, humbly -- THANK YOU!

HERE'S TO THE NEXT FIVE!

Oh, congratulations, Lin. Most of us want to thank you back-- I surely do--for your generosity in sharing your journey with us. I have learned so much from your details about workshops and about the tools you use, and it is just a joy to start my morning looking at your lovely paintings. Here's to the next five? Hows about the next twenty?

WOW. I remember when the journey began and I know how hard you have worked all along (practice, practice and more practice -- lifting, wiping out, trying again) until the painting satisfied you enough to post. And you demand the best of yourself.

I have been awed as much by your dedication as your emerging and continually growing talent and by your successes in personal growth and mastering new techniques.

Your success can also be measured by your being honored to show your artwork in many public venues.

As the proud owner of many of your originals, prints, Zazzle & Redbud shirts, mugs, calendars, and other gorgeous items, I can attest to your success and I enjoy daily your gorgeous and interesting work.

I continue to be truly amazed by the variety of your subject matter and look forward each morning to a new delight on your blog, as well as all that you teach us about nature and the individual subject matter.

It is a journey I have taken with you through the wonders of the internet as well as personally and I am deeply indebted to you for it. I have to say though that that nothing compares to watching you paint -- in person (!) and seeing your glowing paintings develop from plain white paper!

Huge congratulations Lin and a personal thank you for all you have taught me while on your journey. Your generosity with your time, talent, and encouragement has been invaluable to me as well as to others and I am truly grateful for it.

Wishing you a lifetime of painting pleasure and success.

With love and thanks,
Lorraine

DUH, I was so excited about your anniversary that I forgot to comment on today's offering!!

What a truly gorgeous and light filled painting. I love the path of light, the trees, the grasses and altogether the composition. This is a masterpiece that should be added to the others on a wall in your wonderful art-filled home.
BRAVO -- a fitting painting for such an auspicious occasion! I love it.
Big hugs,
Lorraine

That calls for a glass of champagne - imagine how much progress you've made in that time. You should pull out some of the early works and congratulate yourself.

Wow! Congratulations. I don't know what your early work looked like but what you are doing now is great. That is some real dedication but it looks like you've gotten the payoff to go with it.

This painting is super. I love the atmosphere of it.
