Hope - Inspired by Denis Collette

1/8 Sheet
Arches 140#CP

This quick painting was inspired by works of Denis Collette (http://www.flickr.com/photos/deniscollette/) -- THANK YOU Denis!!! Though this particular photo of Denis's is filled with more autumnal color, I left this quick painting lighter as though spring were on its way.

It was another late evening yesterday and there is much to do at home today. These busy days make me long for the leisure of the holidays!

Our last few days were such a tease for warmer weather - tonight the cold returns and with it, the chance of snow next week.

Our Plant a Row volunteers spent the morning choosing vegetables to grow in the greenhouse -- all in anticipation of spring ahead --- hope indeed!

May your day be filled with warmth!

Ah yes, hope for spring -- what brilliant colors and just right for that sentiment. I love the spring colors and the darling little tree.

Glad you are home and have a couple days to R&R.
Big hugs,
Lorraine

What a nice warm feel to this!!! We had about 2 inches of snow...just enough to make everything look pretty and white again. But it is too cold!!! Hope you are warm and enjoying your day!
