A quick watercolor for these busy times ... I painted this a while back as I began playing with abstracts and wet into wet ...

I awoke to rain this morning - and we've a rescheduled trip to the gardens ... I'm still waiting for dawn to break to make a final decision about attempting the trip - but my inclination is to reschedule once again. There is so much history packed into each of those garden rooms, that I really want folks to hear the stories attached to each garden element as well as well as to experience the beauty of those gardens - without the distraction of wet grasses, umbrellas and rain ... we'll see.

Meantime, we're working on the preparations for the orchard planting and naturally, there are meetings upon meetings. I'll be offline for most of the week - but hope to catch up as I can ..
