Travel Journal - Torryea State Park

Travel Journal - Bristol, Fl.  We were told by the campers next to us that 2 years ago this state park, Torryea, was stunningly beautiful.  But in November 2018, the gulf coast, including this Park, was devastated by Hurricane Michael.  This sketch was the sunrise view from our RV window showing the remaining and broken trees.

Your travels are taking you to such great places. I love this one...even with the imperfections in the beauty of the area. That just makes it stand out more.

This scene is glorious, Lin. It just wraps around us with a lovely stillness. Thank you.

That's very difficult, the destruction that happens...It's a very dramatic image here!
