Trying for a wet in wet rose

Your whole flower series is wonderful. Love the wet in wet one!

So soft and delicate. I can almost smell the wonderful scent.

But you've done a wonderful job with the violet shading here. Roses, to me and as I've said, are so hard and I'm not sure why. You're brave to keep at them and today's sketch is very strong.

They are both beautiful, but I like wet-on-wet the best. Hope you're well.

I love your flowers! I'm very particular to your wet-in-wet roses - the colors are lovely, but there's something special about the loose wash and yet the hint of line that just says, "LIN."

Wow, these are wonderful! I think the wet in wet works really well, the roses have shape and dimension and yet look so soft and delicate.

Your wet-in-wet roses are just Outstanding! I sure wouldn't change anything.

These are both so delicate and pretty. When you do the wet in wet have you tried doing one petal at a time and letting it dry before doing one immediately adjacent to it? If you haven't, it's a fun way to be loose and still have control at the same time...wet the petal with water, drop in paint and tilt to make it go where you want, let it dry, do another.
