Daffodils

Daffodils

It's mighty early for these to be in bloom, but in Rebecca's garden in those warmer spots protected by most winds, daffodils are blooming madly. They add a bit of sunshiney yellow to a cool ground of umbers and brows -- a tease of spring .....

This is my first visit to your blog...I like it! I found you on pomegranitesandpapers links!
I like your sketches...I am an artist too!... and I have a grandaughter whom I adore.
I haven't seen any daffodils here in NWArkansas yet but this warmer winter makes it quite possible!

I love these! Beautiful yellow nuances, light and flowing. Nice! No daffodils anywhere near here (Stockholm), only a boring rainy winter with temperatures too high and no snow...

The daffs are fabulous! Your glass vase is EXCELLENT! You are getting so good at glass and the distortion of the stems from the water!!!

You kept this one subtle, simple and very delicate. Love those daffodils.

I like your subtle use of colour, and your soap is great ... I love handmade soaps and think it's wonderful that you make your own!

We haven't even had winter yet and so many things are starting to bloom due to the warmer than usual weather. Our snow pack is 50% normal and I'm worried a drought is on the way.

But your daffodils are sweet and lovely, regardless of global warming. It's a good reminder there's beauty everywhere, no matter what.

Oh daffs are just wonderful and your drawing does them justice so beautifully. Such a lovely breath of spring there Lin. I'm finding it hard to think about spring sitting here sweltering listening to cicardas sing, but nevertheless, the sight of daffodils makes my heart sing. Just wish I could smell them. Hugs.x
