Lin, when I sent you the brief note about the rose -- I said I loved it but not why -- what I love about watercolors is the relaxed, loose quality you are now achieving after much hard work. Plus the colors are almost luminous with light -- your work has been taking a big leap. You are an inspiration to me.
Ln: I'm glad you talked about the way colors in a wash flow together and that it's not as easy as it looks! That darn ol' tendency towards mud. But you're definitely getting it. Isn't it lovely when it happens? Great job on this one.
