Daily Practice
As I drove home in the rain and gray yesterday, I could spot such wonderful spring color - chartruse, maroon, pinks and white of dogwoods ... but I had no where to stop to take a photo. So, being really careful, I aimed my camera out the dashboard as we slowly snaked our way up the long roads north.
This house and gnarled tree reside about 15 miles from my house .. I was able to snap a photo since I was stopped at a light ...
Reviewing my 'moving photos' there are lots of color references, but not much more ... oh well ... lol
Catch up day for chores and errands through a day of more rain.. I hope to get these completed to find some relaxing time to paint. It's been such an intense week!
Hope your Friday is a good one!

I love this landscape. *sigh, landscapes seem to be such a challenge for me. I think it must be raining most places, huh?
You really captured that atmosphere perfectly!!
Oh Yes, this is my view of late too - lovely work - today lots of rain!!
Lin - This shows the beauty of the simple life!!!! Nice job! Hope your weekend is great!
Another lovely landscape -- love the soft tree interposed with the "skeleton" tree! Well, the "fuzzy" photos would be great inspiration for impressionist paintings!!! You amaze me.
Hugs,
Lorraine
You're so good at selecting subject matter... it all looks picturesque when you paint it!
