For our last day before heading to Venice, we stayed at La Romita to work on our paintings, rest, do laundry, and take the time to explore the enchanting grounds.
La Romita could easily have been my home. I fell in love with its rural nature, the sheep and roosters through the hill gate, the incredible cooks, that grove of olives that reminded me of a fairyland, the gardens, its roses and pottery, and its own stone structures. Honestly, as much as I loved exploring each hill town, I could have been as ecstatic staying here for ten days!
